Connecting people and creating community by increasing access to yoga
In 2014, Small World Yoga offered yoga to just a handful of people.
In 2022, we offer yoga to over 3,000 people a month. This growth is possible because of the generous support of our community.
An organization and a practice for every body.
We train every single Small World Yoga teacher in trauma-informed yoga and mindfulness. Our teachers offer coping mechanisms and tools to help students manage trauma and stress, on and off the mat.
The practice of yoga is for everyone. We also strive to create a culture where students and teachers alike can be fully and authentically themselves, regardless of race, age, gender, religion, or sexual orientation.
Each class we teach is designed to suit any physical and mental ability. Our goal is to make this practice approachable so everyone can participate, feel welcome, and enjoy the benefits of yoga.
Last year, we were able to impact the lives of more than
18,000 children, youth, and adults in the greater Nashville area.
