Siboney Acosta

Siboney (also known as Sibo) attended her first yoga class three years ago. The physical and mental challenge brought her a sense of spiritual unity. Since then it has been her mission to learn and teach this ancient gift. Siboney believes that yoga is for every body—no matter the age, shape, or size. She acquired her 200-hour yoga teacher certification through School of Yoga Institute in Ometepe, Nicaragua. Her goal is to extend the wisdom of yoga to the the underprivileged and underrepresented.
Siboney currently holds a position as marketing coordinator at Youth Encouragement Services (YES). YES is a nonprofit that is dedicated to enriching Nashville’s youth physically, academically, and spiritually. Siboney also plays an important role as a mentor for the inner-city children of Nashville, TN who attend YES.
Siboney enjoys vinyasa flows due to its “one breath, one movement” method. She believes that the more in sync you are with your breath, the more intentional life is.
