Sarah Beguiristain

Sarah’s yoga journey began in 2017. Exhausted from the constant hustle of NYC life and long days working in finance, she went to a Vinyasa class a few blocks from her home.

Sarah was surprised by the all-encompassing nature of yoga and its potential to transform mind, body, and spirit in profound ways. She especially loves the duality of yoga: the balance between ease and effort, energizing vs. calming flows, striving for proper alignment while honoring your body’s ability in that moment.

In 2019 Sarah wanted to deepen her practice and earned her 200hr Yoga Teacher Certification from New York Yoga in Manhattan. This comprehensive training instilled in Sarah a reverence for yoga’s origins, and the timeless wisdom of its teachings.

Sarah’s relentless curiosity and need for deeper insight into intuitive holistic health led her to become a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and an Usui Reiki II Practitioner.

After moving to Nashville, Sarah asked a fellow teacher if there were opportunities to gain teaching experience while giving back to the community, and they recommended Small World Yoga. Sarah is thrilled to be partnering with SWY in the shared mission of bringing yoga to the community while breaking down barriers to access.

Sarah’s mission is to create more love in the world by teaching and encouraging others to explore their mind-body-spirit connection to lead more healthful, joyful, and fulfilling lives.
